Eating out can be challenging when you want to live a healthy lifestyle.

Look at the menu before picking a restaurant to see if they have healthy options available.
2) LIMIT SNACKING
Avoid the breadbasket and other snacks provided.
3) CHANGE IT UP
Rice, fries or wedges can be replaced with a baked potato, salad, steamed veg, or stir fry.
4) ON THE SIDE
Take dressings and sauces on the side as they add unwanted calories.
5) GRILL ME
Choose grilled, steamed or poached than fried options.
Order water to sip on, this slows down your eating so that you remain mindful about your meal.
You don’t have to finish a whole meal; restaurant portions are usually much bigger portions. Take your leftovers home for lunch the next day!
