Edit Microsystems scoops ICT supplier of the year at African Eduweek
Edit Microsystems has won a prestigious award at SABC African EduWeek. The glittering awards gala, hosted by Gareth Cliff, saw the education industry come out in force.
Education technology company, Edit Microsystems, scooped a top award at SABC African EduWeek, held in Johannesburg. Edit Microsystems was presented with the ‘ICT Supplier of the Year’ award by Andre Christian from Intel. Pieter Labuschagne, Managing Director of Edit Microsystems said, “We are surprised but absolutely thrilled to receive this award. We consistently strive to be innovative and creative. This award goes to show that we have been recognised for our continued efforts.”
The judging panel, made up of experts in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and education, said of Edit Microsystems “Over the past two decades Edit has rendered an excellent service to schools and education departments throughout South Africa.”
Edit Microsystems is a multi-faceted technology company that has implemented sustainable Corporate Social Investment (CSI) projects in mathematics; science; skills development; literacy and special needs and inclusion. “We believe that by combining the right technology, alternative thinking and partnerships with leading organisations and institutions; together, we can give every learner, regardless of ability, the opportunity to reach their maximum potential” says Labuschagne.
