What will your 67 minutes look like this year?

As you do your daily or weekly shopping, add in a non-perishable item to the basket and drop it off outside Checkers on the first floor. According to statistics, more than 13.8 million South Africans are vulnerable to food insecurity – no contribution is too small.

The Point Mall will be delivering all the food collected from the food drive to FoodBank SA on Monday 18 July and a Point Mall Team will be helping to pack parcels for distribution to the less fortunate as part of their 67 minutes for Madiba!

The most needed food items include:

  • Rice, maize meal, samp and pasta
  • Dried beans, lentils, tinned fish, soya mince and milk powder
  • Jam, peanut butter, canned fruit and canned mix vegetables, cooking oil, salt and sugar
