Healthy recipes for your body this summer!
It is Breast Cancer Awareness month and at The Point Mall Shopping Centre we are focused on our health and well-being.
With a vast variety of merchants and their offerings, we believe in a holistic living approach, all aspects of your life should aim to make you the best version of yourself. Summer is here and to celebrate our bodies and the warmer weather we have come up with two delicious and easy recipes you can make for breakfast, lunch or dinner!
To start your day off, its smoothie time!
Papaya and banana smoothie (522 kcal)
• 1 handful of ice blocks
• ½ cup fresh orange juice
• ¼ cup oat milk
• 1 tsp honey
• 2 bananas
• ½ cup coconut shavings
• 1 papaya
Blend it all, sip and enjoy!
Lunch is served with our DIY chicken salad (2,121 kcal)
• ½ cup of sesame seeds
• 2 tbsp of teriyaki sauce
• ½ cup of sliced almonds
• 2 tbsp of rice vinegar
• 1 avocado
• 1 cup of sugar snap peas
• ½ cup of coriander
• ½ cup of grated carrots
• 2 cups spinach and lettuce
• ½ cup of chopped onions
• Free range chicken thighs
Chop, slice and mix with olive oil and voila, a nutritious lunch.
